I woke up this morning feeling outstanding. My feelings are the result of seeing my critique of the biography of Kwame Ture gain traction. The critique was printed by Pambuzuka and Pan-African News Wire, two very widely respected Pan-African forums. Also, my humble contributions to build the A-APRP in Portland are taking off in a very positive direction. Finally, I have decided upon a publisher for my second novel - "The Courage Equation." I felt good when I published my first novel, but it was my first one. I learned an awful lot after finishing that first book. The second one is much better written with highly improved editing. The plot is much better developed and I can't wait to see this book in people's hands.
So, I'm feeling good this morning because I'm making moves in several areas to have a voice for peace, justice, and forward progress. Yes, there are concerns. How will I finance some of this work? How will I get everything I want to get done? I don't have all the answers, but I know all of this will be figured out. I'm just thankful that I can wake up feeling clear, positive, refreshed, and strong. That's more than most people can say and for that, I sincerely thank the ancestors!
