I organize for political, economic, and social change. I also write and publish books that seek to raise critical questions around issues like racism, sexism, and economic exploitation of people and the planet. I have an activist history that stretches from the U.S. to Africa, Europe, and the Caribbean.
I am available to come and discuss and present regarding my book and the political work I'm involved in.

What Others Say About Ahjamu:
What Others Say:
Ahjamu is a dynamic speaker with a magnetic personality. He is one of the best communicators that I have ever met. He is engaging, informative, resourceful and always focused on delivering a message that will inspire and provoke change at all levels. It is obvious that his knowledge is based on his amazing world experiences and comprehensive education. His passion and dedication to political, economic and social justice is unquestionable. He is someone who not only speaks about it, he lives it. He is truly a man who means what he says and says what he means! It is always a pleasure and a privilege to hear him speak. Holly - Marketing Executive.
When Ahjamu speaks, people take notice. He speaks from experience, and with authority. He speaks from the heart, as filtered through a fine mind. He can be appropriately humorous without being trivial or trite (no mean feat), and he’s very well-read and well-informed about the topics on which he speaks. He’s been around the block, he’s studied the block, and he’s utterly real.
He is also known to sing, but only for his supper. - Cameron CEO/Entrepuener
I asked Ahjamu to speak to a cohort of graduate counseling students regarding racism and the influence it has on people with follow-up information about how counselors can effectively work with their clients of different cultural/ethnic backgrounds. Ahjamu was not only knowable and passionate about the topic; he was clearly able to connect with his audience. I received nothing but very positive remarks after his speech; and in fact, he was so well received he has been asked back by the professor to speak to subsequent cohorts.
